Help!
I have just bought a 87 944 for an incredible price with all documented mechanical/maintenance work. ( An old lady's-husband's car that passed away.)
I have been driving it for about a week when I put the turn signal on and the wipers turned on and the washer fluid emptied out. I have parked the 944 and every time I turn on the car the wipers stay on along with the side marker lights. I have to keep the battery disconnected, if not, the side marker lights stay on. What should I look for and how should I fix it? H.E.L.P.!!!! ![]() I have owned a 911 and never had this happen! |

Yep, wrong area, you need to go to the 944 tech.

Hi, you will need to replace your turnsignal stalk mechanism and while you are at it I would replace your wiper stalk as well. They are reasonable on ebay. For now just pull your fuse. I think it is #11.

Mine did that and once the stalk was cleaned up it ceased.
