WTB: S2 front struts
I'm looking for some good, usable, low mileage, oe front struts, preferrably with springs but not necessary. non-M030

Don't know if it will help, but I have one for the pass side. nothing for driver side.

Hi, thanks for replying.
I need both, but I'll keep you in mind in case I run across a driver side. There's one new driver side strut on ebay, but I don't think it will fit, it say's 87-89.

Anything 87 up will work. Including 944/ 944s/944 turbo/968 all take the same shock. I run 89 turbo-s M030 double adjustible konis on my 90 S2 cab

I have a full set of front as well as rear (just in case). They were at my S2 before I turned the car into a track mobile. PM me if still need them. I am in NJ, can ship on Tuesday. Laszlo |

Brian, the part no. on the strut on ebay shows 94434303117, mine shows 944343031.19.
Is it just a minor difference? PM's sent. I'd really like to go with the Koni conversion, but I liked my stock ride and I'm afraid the Koni's will be too stiff.

shocks
944 343 031 17 is a sachs left side shock off of a 87-88 944 na. 944 343 032 is a right side. 944 343 031/032 19 is a left 031 or right 032 off a 89-91 s2. I have both in the garage 17 has a shorter and thicker spring. I took the 19 off my 90 s2 and replaced with koni mo30 shocks, part #951 343 031 32. They work perfectly. Monday I'll see if the 17 and 19 part # are the same other then different springs.
