Hi, What year is the engine? If you decide to part the engine I'd like to purchase the bottom end(short block). Can you give me an idea of how much to ship it to 34293? Thanks and good luck with your project.
Rick

Rick,
The car is a 1994 with 170k miles. You wouldn't know it from looking at the cylinder bores. Porsche spares no expense in their material selection and it shows! PM me and I can email you photos of the bores. Shipping to your zip will run $500 ~650 depending on carrier and if you need a lift gate at your location. If you can deliver to a business that has a loading dock it will save you money. I will be glad to sell you the short block but would prefer to sell the whole thing. So please let me wait a few days to see if there are any takers. Thanks. Bridar |

If you still have the airbox I will buy it. Also do you have the plastic cover that goes around or in front of the airbox?
Thanks |

Sorry, the airbox has been sold. Steve was ahead of you. I don't specifically understand what you mean by the "thing in front of the airbox", but if it was a part of the airbox, it went with it when I sold it.

I need the plastic cover that goes in front of the airbox. It is not part of the airbox.

Please forgive my ignorance, but I am just not following what it is you need.
If you are refering to the Intake Hose, part 944-110-016-71, that went with the air box and has been sold. Any other panels or covers in the vacinity of the air box are staying with the car. |
