FS: 1980 924 rolling chassis or part out
I am parting out my 924, or selling it as a rolling chassis. The crossmember mounts have been cut off so that creates a problem unless something was welded back up. Nearly everything needs to be sold from this car ASAP. Whatever remains WILL BE SCRAPPED. Let me know on what you need and I will try to get pics to you. Thankyou.
PS: The car has the 4 wheel disc option and has a 5 speed. ![]() ![]() ![]()

How much do you want for the transmission plus shipping.
Thanks, Tom Cooper |

Shame about the x-member mounts. Otherwise that car looks to be in decent shape. It would have made a great track car starting point for someone. Still might, but cutting the mounts makes a lot of work for someone. . .

I know Jeff, I almost wish I wouldnt have even tried to fit a 944 engine into it. But it is error and trial and we learn from our mistakes so I dont feel too bad about it I guess lol. It would have been a lot of work for myself doing it the way I was going to but I did find a way it would work until I found the 944 and decided to go with that car.

So, she's got no engine or cross-member right now? What else is missing? I'm wondering if it needs to be built into an ITB car...

Im the one who emailed you about the GTP fenders and front clip last year if you dont remember, but yes it could possibly be turned into a ITB car with the right fabrication to reatatch the crossmember to the frame rails. I do have the 2.0 engine and crossmember still. Most of the rest is still with the car, just not bolted on it. It has the rear and front suspension and wheels on it so I could roll it around, but the hubs are going before this weekend. I will upload current pics of the car when I can.

Do you mean you've sold the hubs?? I have someone who's interested in the entire car as-is... details needed (as in, what might we have to replace?)...
And if nothing else, I'd like to pick up that trans! What do you want for it picked up? Removal needed?

I believe that I had first dibs on the transmission and Shane and I worked a deal last night. Tom Cooper |

Yes the transmission is already taken for, along with the front hubs, rear hubs, rear backingplates and caliper brackets, ebrake hoses/hardware, and the rear stub axles. The rest of the car and parts have not been called on yet.
