Nine01:
I may have a couple in inventory. If so, when you say "linkage" did you mean the piece that attaches to the trans too? I do have that as well. I'll post a picture of what I have available later tonight.

Ok, time for some background on this. I am the "friend" referred to above.
I bought a 944S LSD transaxle from this poster (Kurt) a month or so ago, based on photos that he emailed to me. In the photos, the shift linkage was clearly in place, however when the trans arrived the linkage was gone. When I inquired I was told that we "hadn't talked about" the linkage and that it had been sold to an eBay buyer for $1. I asked Kurt to make it right, but so far the only evidence that he intends to do that is this WTB ad. He has stopped responding to my emails, and has not responded to a phone message that I left him.He needs the entire shift linkage assembly from the shift rod bolt down to the shift shaft on the transaxle, including he rubber boot that covers the shift rod bolt. Please post availability and price, and I'll give Kurt a week or so to respond. After that I'll consider myself to have been scammed, and I'll be looking to buy the linkage myself - I need it to install the trans as my linkage went with my (non-LSD) trans - as is customary - to finance this project. What Kurt needs (to buy for me) is the entire assembly at the bottom of this part diagram, from #18 on. Thanks.

Thanks for clearifying that point!
My digital camera cable is broken so I couldn't get pictures to my computer to post. I have number 14 and number 17 available. Which doesn't help...I'm sorry about that.

Thanks Ed, I appreciate the response. As you can imagine I'm more than a little frustrated here. The linkage assembly always goes with the trans so there aren't a lot of them floating around out there by themselves.
Anyone else? Thanks. |

Linkage parts are off a low mile tranny. They were cleaned, bead blasted, yellow zinc plated, and re-assembled with new rubber bits.
PM offer if interested. Albert.

Apparently I'm on my own here, so lesson learned and buyer beware to all of you if NINE01 ever surfaces again.
951 - would you take $20 shipped? |

951, I'm sorry I don't have your PayPal info - maybe you're thinking of the OP for this thread - nine01? Anyway, sorry you didn't receive my first PM (sent 12/19) - just sent you another one.
Thanks, Scott |

Hey if you guys don't get this figured out. I have 5 or 6 of those in the garage. I like the short throw shifters in all my projects. Let me know.
