How do you suddenly lose oil?

Why do you think a Porsche that engine was seized is worth 3000, the same price that most running cars are? seems a little pricey for a car thats more then likely going to need major work.

to be honest, i really don't know what the car is worth. i've got about $12,000 into it but i realize that is irrelevant. if $2950 seems excessive, i will lower the price. i am open to offers. in regards to the oil leak, unsure what caused it to suddenly leak oil, as i had just had that major service done.
