Is it Possible?

I have a early 944-84 that i love! But hate the dash! I replaced the door panels with ones from a 89 model. Wanting to know if it's possible to put a dash from a new model in?
Thanks!!!

Yes it can be done, but you will have to update and change many things.

Make sure you get the door panels as well from what ever donor you get the dash from. The early door panels will not allow you to close the door with the new dash!

Maybe I should make my own dash swap thread here on Pelican?

Here's the link to my swap on Rennlist. Hope you can gain some insight on how time consuming this project is....

It would be easier and quite possibly cheaper to go for a newer cars. '86s are going cheap at the moment.

Would you care to post a picture of what later style door panels look like on an early interior car?
