I am new {924s parts and more need help }

HI my name is chuck i am new to this Web sit. I just got me a 924s and i am starting to make it look Nice and getting new things for it..
Can some one help me find some engine parts that will make the car faster and all What is the best site to find what i need..

And is a 924s engine same ass a 944 engine if soo can i buy parts for a 944 and put it on a 924s i just got..

Yes, if it is an 87 or newer, it has a 944 engine, you do have a light car to start with..

My 87...

So i can us a 944 parts to put on my car to make it faster..
I got a 1987 924s.
And do you now some web site that are cheap and cna make it faster...

Not a lot you can do, start with the susp, stiffen it up, you can fit 7&8X16s or 7&9X17 wheels under the fenders (you may have to roll the lip, I posted a how to thread in the 944 tech section a while back).. As for the engine, a chip, headers & exhaust will be the easiest, least $$$ to get power, & you already have a short gear box in your 924S (Porsche used a lower final drive on the 924S so it wouldn't have a faster top end than a 944) so your car can be real fun without doing too much.. Het as much weight out of the car as you can (each pound =s I thing 8hp, so it can add up)

Those are off a Boxster right? Want to send me some pictures? haha.

But Racerbvd is right about all the engine stuff. I'm not so sure what else you could do that wouldn't cost vast amounts of money. Ha. But make sure to get good suspension parts. M030, etc... ha.

That is a set of 18s, I did get a set of 17s for it..

Chuck, I have a set of 7&8X16 968 wheels if you are interested. Other than what we pointed out in this thread, to get more power will be very $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
