Hey guys I've been driving around on the Mazda A-Arms for a week now. They were lighter that the stock A-Arms (I have and early car) and have had no problems with them what-so-ever. Any questions or things you want me to test guyz.....

Can you hit a curb head on at about 20 mph?
Kidding of course... Do you have any auto-x/road course/track events lined up this summer?

Well I can do that one of two ways, 1) let my wife drive the car (not prefered) 2) Let me borrow your car, it'll only take about 10minutes to swap the a-arms to your car and I'l hit all the curbs you want, you could even point them out to me. Jk.... Hopefully I'll get to either get to Laguna Seca or Sears Point..... I'll get to go through Corral Hollow sooner though. It's almost better than either of those tracks, maybe not better than Laguna Seca.

I have put about 9000 miles on the Mazda A-Arms. I have had zero issues with them (that weren't caused by me). They are now installed on my 90 Cabriolet and plan on putting a ton of miles on them come this summer.
I took my 83 to Infineon December before gutting it a tore it up with a friend of mine that has a 1970 Cuda. No issues with the A-Arms. |

Dawgz, Any chance you got a weight on these before you swapped them in the S2?

I am building another set this week. When I'm done I will post the weight of the complete arm. I have well over 4000 miles on my 948 Iron-block V8 swap and not a single issue.

944-RX7 arms are only 7.7 lbs each.....
Was able to get another set of these built....All 944 dims were CMM verified and transfered to the adapter dimensions. All new graphite impregnated 60a polyurethane isolators pre-installed. Also has a brand new set of replaceable 17mm ball joints and the adapter brackets are made out of 4140 steel that is 4x stronger than the Rx7 joint that was removed from the factory. T6061-T6 billet rear control mount adapters with new rear mount bolts. I will ship with new threadlocker nuts so you can select for either late or early offset position of the balljoint. You can also mount the bracket either on top (V8 swap/1" x-member drop) or below the arm for normal 944 geometry..... I gave these a brushed alum look, but they are ready to paint if you choose. I shot mine with Red VHT caliper paint and it's still shiney after 4000 miles on my iron-block V8 swap.... EDIT: Someone asked... they weigh only 7.7 lbs each fully assembled..... $625 shipped in the U.S...... Just PM for details ![]()
