85-944 2.5-8v engine,30kmiles

This is an engine that came with a car i purchased.the car is an 87-944s 16v and the original owner bent the valves back in 1991 so i guess someone told him to convert it to the 8v engine.it has been sitting in his garage until i purchased it a week ago.i have no knowledge of these cars but im learning.i was going to do the swap until i was told waste of money.... we pulled off the orig head and was able to turn it over at that point i decided to repair it, all valves have to be replaced!! so im selling the 8v engine, it turns smoth!! all i can tell you is it is complete right down to the ac compressor.clutch,starter,alt, it`s all together.i can`t varify the miles but due to how long it`s been sitting and how it look`s im willing to bet it`s a 30k mile engine.if any one is interested let me know i need the space.also if you want pic`s email me:nascar991@bellsouth.net or call me 704-307-1461 Jim
