951 turbo S FPR

this is a brand new fuel pressure regulator for an 1989 turbo S. i believe this to be the sought after part to upgrade a standard 951, maybe someone can confirm what the pressure is...3, 3.5, or 4 bar

bosch number is 0280160286
porsche number is 944 110 198 05

this part is NLA. cant even special order it from porsche anymore...asking $120 shipped. again its brand new

After a little work on Google it appears to be a standard 2.5 bar FPR that will work on any 8 valve 944 turbo or NA. It is available new for $95.

not the bosch unit ending in 286....its not for a regular 8v that im sure of. i have it listed as 89 turbo in my parts book. if you look here on pelican its specail order $160 but isnt availble anymore from porsche

Interesting, just got off the phone with McKenna Porsche, and part number 944.110.198.05 is still available and there is one in Atlanta and 2 in Ontario at a cost of $123.57.
