I have an '87 944S/968 conversion that did not come home with the B&B stainless exhaust it left with. !! Ugh! ..The muffler and tail pipe fell off the car. It is embassasingly loud. I am in need of a replacement. I would love to have a B&B again, however may be out of my price range. I really liked the look and sound of that exhaust. I also had RSBarn make me a custom chip for it. Might anyone have a part that you recomend as a replacement? Although I would preffer a free flow type exhaust, I just want to be sure I don't sound like a street tuner . Factory type replacement might be fine for now. The exhaust I had was for a 944, that is what i need despite the 968 engine, although maybe they 944 and 968 exhausts are the same, at least from the muffler back.?.

Muffler
I have a good used standard tranmission 944 muffler, $50.00 plus shipping. However make sure that is what you need because the 16 valve muffler is different.

Flow Master 4o series at 2.75 In Dia for 968 exhaust. Is deep throat bass loud. Get tons of complaments from racer types but not a quite mufffler. Not to loud below 1500 rpms but has some serious deep growl.
Lindsey racing among others sell em.
