New is very expensive and don't last long enough. Used is a real gamble.
I recommend putting in a manual flywheel, disk and pressure plate. You should be able to find good used for very cheep. Don't need release bearing and disk only needs enough friction surface to grab once! Simply replaces the damper. resemble as usual. |

I have a 1987 944na and a 1983na on the way, both cars are automatic transmission.Picking up both cars wednesday 1-26-11.The 1987 944 had the rubber flywheel replaced in 2002.I will try to have it apart by friday and can send pics.I think I have something else you wanted.I have been out of town for the last few days.Trying to catch up.(I think you were looking for a fues panel for an early 944?)Please get back with me when you can.Thanks.......Johnny.859-760-0071.

A used to the ware limets spring center manual disk, Presure plate and damaged flywheel will be under very little stress. Should out last the rest of the car. You could get the parts free.
22k,is to young to die! |
