Reference Sensor Connector
Hey guys,
I need a plug for the reference sensor on my '83 944. Had a couple broken wires in mine and my son cut it open trying to repair. So I need a plug I can splice into the wiring harness side. My number is 850 607 5088, email coachrusty@msn.com. Thanks!

I just threw out a bunch today. I just went to a U-Pull-It junkyard and grabbed about 6 of them. Cost me $2. They're really common on older VWs and Volvos, but show up in a lot of other makes, too. I was pricing out a new connector and it came to something like $25 from McMaster Carr.

A little more expensive than free, obviously, but here's the BMW sensor that fits for $60:
88 1988 BMW 535i Reference Sensor - Engine Electrical - Bosch, Standard Motor Products - ********* It might make more sense just to get a new one so you know it won't be a problem.

I replaced mine with Lindsey racing wiring when I needed to replace the connector.

sorry--misread. I've had success with the Lindsey wiring as well.
