FYI, the scraper is not teflon coated...it has a teflon piece (the white part), which is made of teflon, and is sandwiched between the steel assembly. The teflon material conforms better and allows tighter tolerance to the rotating assembly than a plain steel piece. Just a minor point of clarification

That may be, but the reseller's site is incorrect, it's not teflon coated.

No, the teflon scraper is sandwiched between two pieces of steel which are bolted together with aircraft grade fasteners.

This is what I see on their site - looks like the 90 degree section is connected to the rest of the piece.
