Factory Rebuilt 944 Turbo S (AOS) LSD Trans w/ 16k miles :: $1800
I am parting with some racing parts since I am no longer in that disposition. This AOR Transmission is not numbered like any other 016 trans I have ever seen. It has a Porsche factory sticker that is on the upper bridge and, of the (3) LSD transmissions I have driven in my personal cars, it is the tightest as regards both shifting and locking. It was sourced from a very reputable vendor w/15K miles (@ $2500 + ship). I put less than 1000 miles on it before storing it. ![]() ![]() This will ship in 2 pieces (trans in one box/covering, axles, cooler and hardware in another box). I have had good luck shipping transmissions before via Fed Ex Ground and would like to do the same - it runs about $100. Local pickup in the Bay Area preferred for obvious reasons. Turbo S uses the AOR transaxle, not the AOS.

the sticker is not unusual and doesn't mean that is a rebuild unless you have a receipt for the rebuild

Do you have a clamping sleeve (what clamps the tranny to the torque-tube) for sale?
