Parting out 87 944S

Will be parting out a Maroon/Brown 87 944S. Red/Maroon interior (LY3V/LY3V). Seats are torn, dash cracked bad, steering wheel torn bad.

Some dings and dents in body panels but overall straight body.

Engine runs strong.

If Anyone is looking for anything in particular, I probably have it.

Car located in Los Angeles.

I'm looking for at least one rear hatch pin including the attachment bracket - hatch part only - Pin connection to mount must be solid and not allow pin to move around in the bracket (hatch keeps opening). Small item, but big problem.

May I ask why you're destroying the car if the body is straight and the engine is good?

The car has been sadly neglected and needs a complete restoration over all. Interior is trash. And there's something wrong with the brakes and the ABS. It just keeps engaging the rear brakes so its not drivable. So to get it into decent mechanical and cosmetic shape its going to cost way too much. Worth more in parts at this point. And hopefully some otherfd cars can benefit.

I saved another nice 87 S from a timing belt failure, so I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have to

Hi, how is the instrument cluster? Do all the gauges work and how many miles on the ododmeter?

All appeared to work except the odometer. It reads 135,924

I believe I have another odometer that works, but can't rrmember what it reads.

I also have two odometers (that might work, not tested) one at 165,137 and one at 316,917.

The casings themselves are OK but are missing some gauges.

hi there do you have the bosch dme in that car ? part # 0 261-200-077 i would be interested in it and also maybe the maf that was with that dne

spaguy007; I haven't looked at the DME yet but it should be it. I was contemplating keeping the DME as a back up for my S, but I could let it go. What do you mean by 'maf'?

I think he means Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF)

The DME is part number 0 261 200 080 (944.618.124.00)
