FS: Griffin Aluminum Radiator
**SOLD**
I have a good Griffin Aluminum Radiator for sale. It is the larger 951 - 968 size, about 1" taller than the 944. If used in a 944NA you need to use the lower 951-968 mount. A little dirty, and t has four small holes though the fins where an oil cooler was mounted, but overall in great working order. $300 + UPS

Will this work in a 924S with a 3.0?

It looks like the 924S is the same as the 944 so you would need the lower bracketnornadd spacers to the 924S/944 bracket.
Still available.

I have an 88 924S and the design is a little different than the 944/951. The piece below the 924S radiator does not unbolt, it is solid. I looked into installing a 951 radiator a few years ago and concluded that it would not be an easy job, but could be done with some cutting and modifying of the piece below the radiator so a 951 lower panel could be bolted in as it is in the 951's. Still would like to do it, but I no longer have access to a lift or welder.
Hope that is helpful, LT Fisher |
