Ridiculously desperate for slate Grey metallic passenger fender. Someone help!
Why is this color so damn hard to find. I can't believe I've literally looked through every search possible and found every color but the one I need. I will pay whatever I have to under 500. If you find a decent one for me that's shippable I will send you a 20 dollar finders fee. Pleaseeeeee lol

You can definitely get another fender painted and color matched for under $500

Also, na. For a 944s. Are turbo and na even different? Was not aware. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk |

You will have better luck matching the color by having a good body shop doing it.
They will tint and blend and you will not be able to see the difference. Quote:

+1 to having it color matched. A good shop will make it match. Yes na and turbo fenders are different. Also, paint on a un-garaged car in Arizona will fade way different than a garage car in New Hampshire, so paint matching is the only way to go.

Ok now that you guys are saying that, maybe pursue this route. Should I put the fender on and bring it or just the fender? Because I heard sometimes they'll lightly paint surrounding body parts' edges to make it flow.

Go talk to the body shop and ask them.

bolt the fender on and then take it in. They will have to blend the new paint out to the existing panels.

Yeah as long as the fender is in good shape, the prep work won't be too expensive and your highest cost might be the paint.

Prep work should be pretty straight foreword. Try to be a perfectionist though. It will make a difference on the end product
