My experience with 944's has been with the 944 Spec racing class, hence only stock headers allowed. Martin at MSDS said we could expect around 12% gain IIRC.
If we buy a race car with headers we take them off because they're not legal in 944 Spec. If we buy a street car with same, we remove them because they won't pass visual for the smog. So we just sell them off.

It's a 3 ft long single unit. It must be installed from under the car. You can find pics on the web.
