WTB 16V Long-tube Header (Stahl, etc)
Like the title says, looking to buy a Stahl header or one of the other similar (RSBarn, Lindsey Racing, etc) long-tube 16V headers. I have an S so prefer a 2.5" collector, 3" is overkill for me.
Hoping someone has something sitting on a shelf that they can part with. I can pay the price of a new one if I have to, but would really prefer not to if I can avoid it. Let me know what you've got, thanks!

Stahl are no longer in business. I purchased all of Stahl's jigs and samples for the 924, 944, 951, and 968, and have the permission to reproduce and market using the Stahl name.
If you can't find a readily available off-the-shelf unit, let me know, and I'm sure we can find a willing accomplice to assemble one for you.

Thanks. There are other suppliers of similar headers for the 16V engines, like Lindsey Racing, RSBarn, and Racer's Edge. I was assuming they were based on the Stahl design but apparently not?
Do you have an idea of what it might cost to get a Stahl header built? I'm seeing prices in the $1K range for new headers, on up to $1600 (!) for the Racer's Edge piece. There's also an MSDS header for the 16V cars that I've seen that is significantly cheaper, but I haven't been able to find any proof that it actually improves performance....

I don't know about the Lindsey and RSBarn stuff, but the Stahl design is definitely differently than the MSDS and Bursch that I also carried.
The Stahl stuff was selling for $800ish without coatings, but I haven't yet gotten settled enough in IL to find a fabricator I trust to replicate. If you're seriously interested in the Stahl design specifically, I can chase it down, but it won't be turnkey by any stretch, will take some time to find a fabricator and work out pricing. Happy to help, just want to be realistic with the expectations.

I have a brand new 2.5 collector header with fiberglass wrap if you are interested. I mounted it but found out I had a bad cylinder and only ran it for about 5 minutes. I live near Stahls old shop and is actually on they found after selling the tooling so it probably the last one they made
