WTB: Rear Speaker set from 10 Speaker sys.
I am looking for a functional rear speaker set from "10 speaker system". One speaker 944.645.425.00 and one rear tweeter 944.645.046.00 01C. It seems my passenger side rear speakers are toast.
I think the 10 speaker system was optional for most 944S2s and 968s. Thanks,

If you are putting them into your 968, keep in mind that the 968 setup is powered, while the 944 setup is not.

It seems the PET call both out as the same part number, is there a point of concern when using one or the other? Thanks, Andrew

Not sure of the details related to the 968 since I don't have one, but there is a difference according to others who do have them.
I don't know if the speaker itself is the same or not, and I haven't looked at the 968 PET to check. If you have checked and the PN is the same, then I guess you are OK.
