FS: M44/51 Engine
When purchasing some other parts guy also sold me a M44/51 engine from 86 Turbo. Engine was completely disassembled as they were going to rebuild but never did. Head looks as if rebuilt already. Block doesn't appear to have any groves in cylinder walls but they do have some surface corrosion that would have to be honed out. I believe there are two to three sets of pistons and a couple sets of rods. All have some surface corrosion on them. Some worse than others. Think some can be cleaned others ?? Came with new rod and main bearings. New set of rings. Head and oil pan gaskets. Is missing oil pan and I did not get turbo. He had already sold that.
I am in the Houston Texas area and would like local pickup.
I can get pictures of whatever you want.
