WTB cooling fan resistor wires
1987 944 NA (w/AC maybe important)
Near the battery, under the plastic, lives two white disc resistors that have wires connecting to somewhere probably the fuse box. The real trick is to get as much of the wires that are on the interior side of the firewall, in one piece. Whatever they lead to too if possible... Not sure if 85-1/2 to 91 all apply here...but if there’s two resistors I think it’ll be good. |

Why install old wiring? You can make new pig tails easily. Difficulty of this job is related to how far back you need to cut the old wiring. I fixed the image links in the thread just for you .

Reason I was going for the interior segments of wire is to keep it all exactly the same material, maybe learn a bit more about how it all works, ... But it’s looking like an uphill battle at this point. |
