odometer
Any known fixes for a stuck odometer? I was a 944 owner and they were notorious for breaking, does the 928 have that history?

I don't know 944s that well but I believe it's the exact same problem.
The gear that drives the odometer is of a soft, almost rubber-like plastic and over time is shrinks and often breaks; either cause the odo to quit. It's a simple part to replace IF you can find someone to sell you the gear. I've seen reproduction gears on ebay in the past, but don't know a direct source. |

Thanks for the link, that's the main culprit for 928 odo failure.
