I was really enjoying this thread, and then it ended.
There's obviously no definitive "answer" to the auto vs manual debate. Mine is an auto and I've always felt like a bit of a second class citizen because of it, more because of what others say than my own preferences, if I'm honest. I do like driving manual cars yet have never driven a 5-speed 928. I'm seriously considering doing a manual conversion but concerned about regretting it. I put a lot of stock in Roger's opinion and he has me thinking I should leave it as is and just learn to use it properly. Sounds like there's more to it than just sticking it in 'D'. |

Forget doing the manual conversion and just buy another 928 with a 5 speed.
