Must be in the member to member, ie I don't really want to sell it, section. As the name implies, only members can post or see posts in that section. If it ever goes public let us know.

I agree----if it was really for sale, it would be on craigslist, eBay, autotrader, etc......

r-list will only talk the car down, deflating the price even more. this is the last place I would advertise one.

unless there is something obviously wrong with the car, it should sell for twice the asking price. (I haven't seen the ad)

Mason has some curious ways of doing things, but hopefully this is an interesting car somebody will decide to make nice with. Some of the description I am sure sets off alarm bells for some of us, "low mileage indicated" etc.

sounds like a car

Sounds interesting. The price prob means that it needs a few things, then again, don't they all.

Hi Guys. Some of your comments are very comical!

LOL

As for this car, I bought it from a friend, who is friendly with another one of my friends. They both swear it runs mint, but when I picked it up, there's no spark. So I offered it up to the 928 gods as a sacrifice at this price, for the time being. I won't be promoting it anywhere else at this price, because I intend to get it running and sell for more or keep it or whatever. Once I fix it up a bit (let's say 2 weeks from today?) I will post it for sale everywhere. For now, I'm leaving it as an early bird special. Anyone who's hungry should come gobble up this worm before it wiggles away. Mileage appears authentic, but haven't checked carfax or anything. It's just a solid, rare car with lots of potential. I wouldn't take a penny less than $3750 (as she sits today) so please refrain from low balling. Anyone interested is welcome to come see it. Take care guys....

But the title for your Post says "$3,500."

Just pointing that out

Whats the VIN?
Is the engine really clean, or power washed?

Dano,
It's not my post...

Dangler,
Engine came to me looking like that, haven't touched the car. PO said engine looked like that when he got it. Looks like a clean motor... tranny is clean too. VIN is available on the phone so call me anytime to discuss if you're a buyer. Thanks!

Nice project

Looks like a good start. Lets see what you can do with it in a couple of weeks.

Hard to see how that is a $3500 car, except in parts...

It's all in the eyes of the be holder. But the mistake happened by paying that much and it wasn't running. Hey they might be someone out there that is looking that car a that price? Gook Luck

310 hp LH jet, twin dizzy and later borg warner syncro 5 sp, quite possibly 2.73 gears. That could be the ultimate cheap track car. Some stiff springs for the bilsteins and about a grand for s4 brakes and someone could have a real hoot.
