Poor Mans Pascha

I had a spare pair of Door Panel Inserts, so I thought I would have some fun with them. Bought some Wavy Checker Fabric from eBay and Walla, a Poor Mans attempt at Pascha. Although I still have my Black Leather Door Inserts, this is a quick easy change when I want that 80's style flashback

Stare

Don't stare at the panels while driving ,you may wreck.

I was thinking the same thing just now as I was looking at the post. I started to get hypnotized.

Here you go! Installed. Those pesky door snaps aren't holding very well. Sheesh, they're only 30 years old. Are they still under warranty?

Not too shabby

Not too bad at all. Kinda gives a little moder flavor to a retro theme. I like it.

Yeah, is that a new carpet kit? If so where did you get it?

One of the old time car guys was explaining how to build a custom car to me, always start with the carpet since it sets the back ground for everything else.

I'm thinking something a bit less white for the door panels.

Thanks. I was looking at Rob's site and thinking about pulling the trigger. My carpet is in good shape, just faded and I want to switch to black so I think I'm going to wait until the more urgent stuff is taken care of.

Looks kinda groovey man - Come get me and we can cruise a bit.
I used carpet with a rubber backing made for boats and it worked out very well. 3m spray adhesive holds everything in place. Everyone knows Porsche cars Never leak!

Hey thanks guys! It's really growing on me too. I am pretty sure the wavy checker pattern was the same I put on my BMX Helmet when I used to race bikes. Good memories back in the 80's.

it really has been interesting and impressive to watch your car come together bit by bit! kudos man! Totally dig those door panels, might be an interesting (if risky) choice for headliner material if durable enough. just stray away from the LSD while near them
