Another S4!? early '87
what an addiction. Just encountered an extremely early S4 for sale, good price, #96 '87 car, with a strange option package... ordered from the factory with only a heated passenger seat (not driver!), LSD, 150 (which appears to be an emission delete but it has the C02 option as well, which is confusing) a couple other usual suspects. Hinged spoiler, piston oil squirter engine. black on black with platinum flat dish. 102k mi., engine seems very tight. needs some cleaning up and TLC but pretty darned straight solid car. Newer torque tube and TB/WP, had been sitting but ran alright. Currently not charging the battery (relay or fuse?), front A/C blows warm but rear cold (strange), and all center console switches inop. looks like it would be an easy one to clean up and enjoy. Thoughts and opinions?

Lots of cars on the market, many dirt cheap, stock up I guess if you can, but no point in pretending cheap is going to last beyond the purchase price, or a little work is going to turn a 928 into a nice profit.
