Woo-hoo she runs!
Well Weissach #14 is alive!
I finally got all the fuel system cleaned/rebuilt and put back together. I also relaced the vacuum lines and the starter. I fired her up for the first time this morning and she ran good. Starts right up and all the warning lights go out. I even put her in gear to make sure she can move and thats all good too. Cant go far as she is still in the air. I could not run it for too long as it is backed in the garage. Now for some new tires and replace the steering rack and it should be road worthy.  Dave

Congrats. Man, that must be a good feeling. I hope to be there sometime soon, but I have a feeling my elec. issues will be very tedious and time consuming. Then there's the wp and tb change. Oh well, at least I own one!

Thanks! It felt really good to hear it run.
