Yeah, this is how I towed mine, with a 2 wheel dolly from U-Haul and it was fine. 2 of us pushed it on the dolly, while someone was behind the wheel. No wench needed. Tires were sketchy but they made the 30 miles trip home. You must have dmv fees paid up and car registered in your name before you can get a 1 day pass. And yes, you can still get them. I must have gotten around 15 of them while I was testing my car and getting it smogged. You can get as many as you want, but only 1 per day.

The Red DMV square extensions require a failed smog and a right nut since Jan 09. They are charging a fee for that now. I said "f&%$ 'em" and just went with 1 day permits till I passed smog and got it registered.

928 are too low for a two wheel dolly, plus it would need good tires and registration.

I have AAA, but I didn't think they covered anything but break down towing. I've been paying a local service when mine need moving around.
I have had success having AAA tow vehicles that I just bought and were not running. In fact, the Tehachapi car was towed to my place that way. As you know, it did not have a motor in it.

I am a little concerned about towing arrangements, but will get into high gear if I end up with the thing.

Currently no bids.

Russ such a negative thinker, why assume a $135 928 is bad?

OH No!!!! not thinking negative, as I would be game for the car if it was local.

Heck, my kid just spent $250 on a bicycle.... $135 for a 928 is nothing!

just thought 153 saw something that backed him of the deal...?

Disclaimer: This is the first retraction in my 10 years of eBay membership. I retracted my bid with 100% truthfulness and within the R and R of eBay.

I feel bad about it. I did not realize anything more wrong with the car than the images depict . It would be nice to have an extra motor (parts at least), etc. for that kind of money.

No clue what will happen with it, email I got back from the seller offered it to me for $175, which made no sense to me since $135 would have just bought it. Maybe he will list it again?
