so would a hair blow dryer or a heat shrink tube gun work? if not ill have to use a torch

I would use the Heat Gun. Stay away from Torches.

make sure to read the article to the end as I added some important info thats not included.
You do want to inspect the shanks of the bronze pin if its marked then you want to dress it with some 600 grit paper , put the pin in a hose to hold it
