My 928 hasn't gotten me laid yet!

WTF!!??

I guess I need to spring for some nice wheels and extra-wide tires with some 1.5" spacers on the rear.

I was thinking about the same thing. My 944 scored me a little "stinky on the hang down" but the 928S isnt doing it.

Cars don't get you laid. That's an urban myth..... Knowing how to drive cars, and showing your female passenger such, can get you laid.

Crashing while trying won't get you laid.

Cleaning and waxing your car in FRONT of a female can get you laid..... for sure....

Sadly, embarrassing other motorists with more raw horsepower than they have will ALSO get you laid, but not always, and you won't always survive said attempts.... So it's not recommended (on the street)

Few, if any women know what a 928 is. Buy a Mustang Gt or a Corvette. Then you will meet Pussy Galore!

I agree with dangler, the only way your gonna get any action with a 928 is at the dealer where they might screw you. Most women don't know or care about a 928 and unless the wheels you put on have a hundred dollar bill dispenser on them, they won't help either. In fact you'll have better luck just pinning a Benjamin to your fly

I told a girl friend of mine I bought a 928, she said "is it a hatch back" I said yes, she said she does not like "hatch backs". Another nice blond I know saw the car and the first thing she pointed out was the only mark on the car on rear bumper! And "how much dis ting cost?". I also seem to have lost a friend, he saw the car, did not believe it was mine. When he saw it was mine, the first thing he said was he had a Datson 280Z once, then he said his beater Pontiac was a fast car. Did not say one single good word about the 928. Naturally, he knows absolutely nothing about cars. My one friend Peggy did see it and said "what a car, you stole it". She is a former cheer leader and Indiana U. grad!

I get some funny looks from people in traffic here and there. I'm not sure what those looks mean, though.

People tend to have strong feelings toward Porsche's, be they positive or negative. I've not encountered any apathy toward the car yet.

But people also don't understand why I bought such an old car. When they ask what year it is, and I say '82, they seem to react as if to say "Why bother buying a Porsche that old?".

Yeah...well....I got laid IN my 928 the first night I owned the car.

[My back hurt the next day...]

Listen, it isn't the car that gets you laid. It is YOU. I'm not some stud or anything like that, but I was a model when I was kid and even did some work as an adult. But the best way to earn a trip to the "wound that never heals" is to simply make a girl laugh. Entertain her a little bit, and you're there dude! You can show up in a chevette for all that broad cares- if you make her laugh you're in. Figuratively and realistically!

N!

chicks like it when you drive around town in an 8 wheeled drive tank as well, I am with the canadian military and I teach a lot of students and I am in the top hatch and girls love it. I had a girl show me her junk while passing us on the highway one day, it was awesome. I can't wait to see if the porsche gets the same reaction. Kingston is a big spooniversity town

My wife had wanted a 928 ever since she saw the movie "Risky Business".
So we got one, and took it on our honeymoon. I had the 911 when we were dating, and I think any sports car can help attract the babes. I bought the 911 from a young single guy and he said he had a hottie he did not know follow him home once! I'm not sure if the wife liked Tom Cruise or the car more.

Driving Fire trucks works very well. Now that I'm out of that I cruise the radio station van. Now as a radio personality, that is the way to pull a$$. I do get some odd looks. Mostly from the little rice burner kids. They have no clue what kind of car it is but they always say "it's neat". Then when the light turns green the tear my doors off. I just tell them to take it to the hwy but they seem to know that there safer running me down in a 1/4 mile. Those little fat kids aren't getting laid either.
