Thanks for your help guys.

My vin is 9289200151.

I believe it's a 1979 Euro because the odometer reads 88k kilometers.. If that's right, that means this car only had about 50k miles unless instrument cluster has been swapped out.

Thanks again in advance for the info.

Hi,

my VIN# is 91A-0-143680 (1980 SC Targa US model). You're my last hope in finding out the original options since there is no sticker in the hood nor do I have the service manual.

Thousand thanks, Manfred

I actually think I posted my request in the wrong thread - I apologize. Let's try it here again. I can't get PET7 to run on WIN7 x64 even in XP mode, so I'd really appreciate if someone can tell me anything about my '80 that has no stickers left on it unfortunately. The VIN is 92A0811059.

Thanks a bunch already in advance,
Marcus

My car did not have an option sticker also. I suspect they started adding the option sticker on later cars. I ordered a Certificate of Authenticity and it came with a list of options as well as the original engine and transmission numbers so I could confirm the numbers matched.

Old thread, wondering if there is anyone here that can decode mine. Bought a project missing the hood sticker and would love to find out the option list.

I messed up my pet install a year or so ago, so I can't do them.

One note the options sticker is under the carpet in the rear over the gas tank.

The look up device that has been used is an older version of the Porsche parts catalog known as PET7, that isn't "real" hard to find, but has some issues with updates and Win7 and newer.
