Oh Fuhk!!!! My Injectors were delivered at Witchunter 2 days ago so I thought I would send an email to see if there was any status updates. I get an auto reply that they are closed Feb 2nd thru the 15. I'm like WTF???

There Shipping Instructions say nothing of that:

WitchHunter Performance shipping instructions

...but the Contact Us link does say it:

WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services

I tried to call but there is just a Voicemail message with the dates they will be closed PLUS saying to not leave a message as they DO NOT check them.

I'm pretty sure i just got bent over without the glove

Sounds like somebody took a vacation and didn't tell you until AFTER they have your parts. Maybe you can negotiate a discount when it comes time to pay. At least it buys me time to work on my 928

injector problem, my solution...

Yes, I know of a mechanically challenged guy in La Costa with a long list of 1984s repairs pending. I just updated my website so that I can stare at this list until everything is done.

the to do list:

1984 Porsche 928s Web Page

Leo, I told Glen that I can fix everything on my car in 2011....

Ok, time to move on from that FarleyFumbleButt. Installed a new Fan Thermostat I got from 928 intl. It is supposed to be a lower temp to turn it on a little earlier. I didn't write down the temp stamped on the side before I installed it, sorry about that.

I'm in a little dilemma, I can't figure out how to properly install the Front Spoiler Air Ducts. There is a tab which I am unsure if it's under or above the Front Bumper? You can see by the close ups, that if it's under, i can't put the Spoiler up. But when the tab is above the bumper, it looks bent. Any tips?

That passenger side air duct is way to low - top lip should be up above the upper intake section. Stop by if you want to take a look at this on my 86, just went through the whole duct, lower lip, etc install.

Hi Neil. Here's a pic of what i am talking about. It's the Air Duct and the "Tab." The Spoiler is just hanging as I can get it to go around that part of the body. I was going to wait on this when I can get the car on some Jacks.

Where are your Tabs? Above or Below. The pic shows it above.

I just looked, mine bolts up exactly as you show - from ground - spoiler, tab, tab.

so the tab that looks bent is on the correct side of the body?

If not, mine is wrong as well! That should be a metal tab, and the plastic front cover bolts up to it. However, this is on my 86 with the widebody conversion, so it may be as they say - YMMV!
Can't check the 84, its 2,500 miles away right now, and the 81 is different all together :-)

I'll check it tomorrow and post pics if nobody else has helped. Although I have a fever (102,3F) so maybe the day after tomorrow if I don't get well.

Could you possibly pop one of those decals in the mail for me? I really like the look

Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".

Sent ya a PM Riber. Get better. My 3 Year Old gets a fever all the time. We give him Tylenol or Motrin. They have to have an equivalent for Adults. Besides Tequilla

Looks like I get to help the famous MPDANO. The black tab for the intake grille goes under the gold bumper cover then the spoiler is under all this.
