Hard to say which I like less, water damage which you might take forever to find the extent of, or fire damage.

What is up with those S4 rear ends horribly grafted onto OB-cars? Now I've seen 3 in the past month?!
Shame about the car though, the body kit is not my style, but someone put a lot of time and effort into that - and it might be appreciated by someone not as conservative as I.

Sad End -
Hey JhwShark, Man that poor 911 buried up to the windows in sand has got to be one of the saddest things I've seen for quite a while. It looks like it got pushed up against that palm tree by lots of moving water and then sat there long enough for the sand to settle in around it.
I have heard that many car dealerships north of the Mason-Dixon line know to watch for low-priced high end cars after each hurricane has hit Florida. With a backhoe, a large capacity vacuum cleaner and a little elbow grease this car could wind up on a car lot with a sign in the window "For Sale - Extremely Clean" Shoot if the price was right, we might even be able to breath some life back into it with the help available on our Pelican site.... Michael

I'm with you Michael. I would totally take this on as a Project in a second. Except, it would have to be a "too good to be true" price first

Porsche 911 - Caymen
Wow good eye - The Porsche 911 and the Caymen look so similar, I couldn't see enough to distinguish them apart with only the roof, hood and the top of the fenders showing. There was a slight difference between the width of the frame for the side windows on some of the cars - but this varied over the years. The air dam would have helped some I think. The 911 is the top photo and the Caymen is below just before it sank into the sand....ha

Caymen or 911. It's a shame that they look that much a like. Back in the 80's there would never be a question of which Porsche it was. I personally am not a fan of the newer stuff. (aesthetically)

Caymen Beach Lounge...open the hatch, layout a towel and viola, a mini cabana!
...just add a well constructed cocktail and a well constructed gal...priceless, well at least you could drown and enjoy the sorrows of car turned lounge chair!
