14 Porsches - one 928!

But it was cool cruising through the city with those guys. The club is called "Flat6", but they have really welcomed me even though I have a "Vee8"

All of them are stunned and impressed seeing a 19-year-old doing his own wrenching on a car as complex as the 928. And I don't give them sheet for driving squashed beetles - works like a charm

Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".

Are you sure you weren't part of one of those "who can bring the worst date" scenarios? Congratulations , you got to sit at the cool kids table.

Riber,
I suppose you and club "Flat6" have some good driving...how about the eating and drinking...What do you all "chew on" when you get together??

Oh, how is that BMW "5" doing?
Jon

Well, we went to something called Classic Race Aarhus, it's kinda like the Monaco Grand Prix.. They close of some city streets, and there is a weekend of racing pre. 1975 cars. All kinds of classes, including old F1 cars. Some of those turbo 4's, boy do they make some noise, and around 1000hp from 1,5 liters of displacement!

Anyway, had a steak sandwich, a sausage and a beer.

The fab '5' is doing fine. I fixed the door lock actuator, and now she's at the painters getting a ding and some scratches fixed.. But we don't really want to be talking about BMW's over here, do we?

Nice event! I bet it would be fun driving your car in the Alps, through Germany and Austria!

Definatel miss those "Raduno's" in Italy. Belonged to 4 clubs dotted around Northern/Central parts of the country. 50% were driving in the hills/mountains while the remaining 2 clubs enjoyed track events several times a year at Monza & Verono :-)

Lets not talk about the food...here in the states, food sucks in comparrison to the E.U. :-(

Great post!!

The food sounds great (better than just coffee) and the event as well, I'm sure some sweet looking classic rides!...thanks for the update.

Meget godt...for en BMW 5 (e39)...meget pænere end min e34! Dog stadig jeg min e9, klassiske!

You can get a lot of Schnitzel in that car; more than in our 928's.
