Ground Point differences.. 86.5

I need expert opinion :

Trying to service the grounds on my S3, and It seems after much sweating and cursing and puzzle reassembly I cannot find the 'G2' ground point (located under the passenger side QuarterPanel. )

Is it possible this ground point was modified for the late model 86 year?

Where are the grounds for the side marker lights? Is this in the stack of grounds in the spare tire well ?

If the S3 follows the 87 grounding spec, are the hatch and spare tire grounds the only rear ground points?

Thanks in advance. (I really hope I didnt 'miss' finding that ground because that rear panel is tough to get back in correctly. )

Basically, I have an issue with my side markers. Before I replaced the passenger side light, the front and driver side markers worked. Now the only marker that works is the one that was replaced

Sounds like it. The spare tire ground point is non existant for 86, 5, 4 and earlier.

Thank you sir. What I suspected. I will be working with the 87 ground sheet moving forward. I suspect the other electrical stuff to be consistent with the 87 electrical diagram. Fun Fun Fun having a hybrid year car ..

Searching the forums for hints on the side markers. Im convinced its a ground or common wire. [Lord this car is making me hate electrical work]

What's the problem with them? Front, back or both? Left or right?

Before I 'replaced' the bulb in the right rear ([passenger rear]) the other 3 lights worked. Then the lights stopped working shortly after replaceing the right rear, however for a few days if i slapped the left rear they would work. I am just going to have to replace all the bulbs then trace the wiring (#notlookingfowardtotroubleshootingelectrical)
