OT! Anyone ever owned a Honda Odyssey FL250?

I am just wondering if anyone owned or worked on one. I got one for cheap and will restore it to build on some Sand Toys for me and my Son.

It is exactly like this one but mine is in Poor Shape. Sound familiar

the only thing i find dangerous about these are when your going WFO in the desert,
its very hard to see the washouts and by the time you do,
into the ditch or washout,
this is due to weak brakes and worse a very low to the ground seating position,
the quad racers of today are much better as you do sit considerably higher, good luck with the restoration it should run forever its a Honda

Now when you tell people you own a Honda Odyssey you'll have to say, "No! Not the minivan, the atv."

Will you ever buy something that doesn't have an automatic transmission?

Wear a helmet, and whatever happens don't let go of the wheel, and you'll be ok.

A kid that lived near me in the 1980's had one of those, but he wrecked it.

Later, his dad bought him a brand new Dodge Omni O24; He wrecked that within a month.

-You'd think I'd know better, but I got on the back of a snowmobile in the winter of 1981 with him up in Michigan, and me and him went through a ditch that we didn't see on a golf course at about 50 mph; I flew through the air and somehow wasn't hurt; I had surfed for a while on trips to Florida, and knew to curl up and roll. He wasn't hurt either, but we bent the frame of the snowmobile, and it was essentially destroyed.

Urk~

I didn't read this at first because you wrote fl250 , now ODYSSEY I understand. I my buddy had one and I had an XR80 dirt bike in like 1982. I drove it all the time. If you hit a big puddle it throws water straight up in the air, you drive under, and it lands on your legs. You'll probably have to adapt modern parts.. i suspect most will be NLA. Looks like you could throw a small snomobile motor on it or maybe a newer CRF450 motor. shhh don't mention I said that, I wouldn't want the purist's jumpin on me. They are soo fun though

Pulled the Roll Bar since it's the only way to remove the Fuel Tank and really be able to work well on the Engine. Also, cleaned her up with a hose and compressed air. Looks like the Seat Bottom was a nice way to store water. Totally destroyed by rust.

Also, got the seats rails loosened up and functionable. Seat back actually in a workable condition.

I used to drive a few of these that belonged to other people back in about 1980. Very cool. Gunar

Gonna be stock colors. Powdercoating and some Rattle Canning. Fenders and Tub will still be Yellow. Eff Painters, they all Suck here in San Diego!!

I will be contacting my co-workers buddy on possibly putting a Full Cage on it. Of course, before the Powdercoating.
