928 help fuel lines
well I'm restoring this 83 928 all was fine until we clean engine and discovery th horror hidden must of vacuum lines felt apprt in my hands, and most scary the fuel lines looks real bad,,, looking at original part number , is los of money little pieces $80 up to $200 , wondering if there is a aftermak high pressure fuel lines thst i cna use in the restoration !!!!
any help any ideas pictures thanks here are some of my engine pics, seem like oil separator was in bad condition cause alot of oil leaks over it , i magen is common fail piece? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You can get a fuel line kit from Roger at 928s R us. Probably $100. You will have to remove the old clamps with a Dremmel Tool. He provides new clamps and instructions. I just did mine last year.

+2 for the kit from Roger at 928sRus. I got that kit and it worked wonderfully. Would have been better if I had not messed up and ran myself short on line. He gives you everything you need to do the lines, even the pieces to replace the fuel injector lines. Don't forget about the fuel lines around the fuel tank in the rear as well. They can get hard and weak. And as far as the vacuum lines just get the hose from a local auto parts store. Take a sample of the different sizes and go pick some up. But be wary of getting hose with too thin of walls. It will suck in on itself and close off if it isn't strong enough. I think Roger may have a kit for that as well though. Might just want to give him a call. He is a great resource for knowledge and parts.
