1987 S4 for under $5K?
This seems like a decent deal. Although I hate red cars, it's looks to be in very good condition.

Salvage title...really hurts resale. I had a 1977 280Z back in the early 1980's with a salvage title...almost GAVE the car way when I needed more than a 2 seater. I know it doesn't take a lot of damage to "salvage " a car now a days...but still...unless you plan on running the wheels off of it I would wait for a clean titled one.

True that Dean. I was thinking of it being a great way to barter down. Also, I never see myself as re-selling. I get too attached to my cars.

Smog history hints at a lot, the dates 99 to 05 look like regular use, 08 means it sat or was sold, two of them in 12 sure sign it was sold.
If I was in the market for a car like this one, I would be standing in front of it with about one ATM visit short of his asking price in cash, but only after running a carfax to see why it has a salvage title and from when. To me, it looks very nice, but same here, no red cars plz plenty of tickets without being red. |

Well Bob, your car and a Red one is night and day. I would probably take any 928 color car other than Red. Yours truly looks rare.
