Dust protector needed?
Been reading all about the front dust protectors ( disc shields) and weather they are needed, I Have no problem with removing them BUT in the UK they are needed for the MOT test
 I cant find the things anywhere, mine are rotten (see pic ) the only place was in the USA but unless I spent $200 they wouldn't ship to me  that's what mine looks like on my 928 1980 4.5l What it should look like

You might try 928RUS. There have been some parts cars on here from time to time.

EEK!If the dust shields are in that condition, it might pay to check the rest of the under side.If you lift the carpets, can you see the road?
