One of my favorite things to do is to put my foot to the floor and run a car through the gears.
US 83 on a 6% uphill grade is good for 9 seconds of fun. Euro 85 on a 6% uphill grade is good for 6 seconds of fun, with bonus scary factor at end. *** Note shifting not so much fun since you need to lift in a 928, so shift time not included in fun time. |

I find it interesting so few people know anything about the 928..I have a friend that has a C5 Z06 corvette and he was admiring my S4, asking about it. When I told him it was a V8 with rear transaxle layout he gasped and said" you mean it is like the corvette?". "No" I stated "the corvette is like the 928"....I dont think he got it...but he's young:P
For the record that vette is super fast, modified to about 450 RWHP..nice car but I live in kentucky and there is a corvette at every stoplight(they are made here for those that don't know)...beautiful but just way too common.
