Recent 928 owner needs help

I purchased a 1984 928S 5 speed Euro and have started to notice somethings aren't right or working.
1st.....rear wiper does not work. Fuse is good and wondering what the relay in the picture is connected too
2nd the rear latch opener on the drivers bottom door rail doesn't do anything. After looking in the rear, it appears the electric motor/plunger has been removed, which leads to the loose wires in the pictures.
Would appreciate any help with what the wires do, relay and possible a link or picture to the the rear latch mechanism.

Door latch is a common issue. It's the carrier inside and it's cast and always breaks. I would look in the common fixes thread if the fix is there.

Whatever your missing for your rear hatch, just call Tom at 928 Intl to hook you up with good used parts. They guarantee them too.

Tom can also hook you up with that carrier as well. I would get that part new.

The previous owner repainted from a light blue to this darker blue and I do not know the color code
