Hi,
If I knew this was the problem I would by it. As you recall I did some vacuum line work on my 84 and now it won’t start. It will start if the air flow meter is disconnected. Frustrating!! Anyway good luck with your sale

that's exactly what my car was doing. a known good MAF sensor fixed it.
