I have the hatch lock, receiver, and gas cap listed here at my parts store:
https://928classics.com/parts-store/

And I have all of the other parts too, just not listed. What color interior? Feel free to call or text. Thanks! -Jim

@tims944 Before you jump into the restoration it is important to consider how much these specific cars are to restore. I also found that they are nuanced and require a well experienced 928 mechanic, which was difficult to find after several others failed.

That said, there are articles about the many ground points (over 20) that need to be cleaned in order for the electronics to work properly., and you will probably need the dash gauges restored as the electronics board is a weak link. Also the air lines and canisters can be a challenge to get working.

Btw. The belly pan was one of the hardest and most expensive parts we bought.

FYI 928 classics was one of the few places where we can find parts for a 78 and 79 928.

I have a ton of parts not listed on my webstore, alot of good 'scratch & dent" parts, also budget-oriented unrestored and relatively common stuff too.
Only the highest quality parts make it to my webstore, but the other stuff can be good for the right customer's 928.

#JettandTye thanks for the kind referral!

Hey. I'm not far now from getting it running sorted quite a bit. I'm a 944 guy. Parts isn't an issue really. I've sourced most of thr stuff through buddies. Got a belly pan from a guy not far for cheap ish.. I mean it's paid for just have to go get it.

Gaugee all seemed to work. Got it cranking today. Luckily ignition switch was dead but I have tons of good ones from 944s. And some new.

My goal isn't to make a concourse car. I only paid 1500cad for it. And had someone offer to buy it as is when I posted looking for info. And there offer was over 3x that.. so.. not worried. The interior I intend to let me dad put his own spin on.

Overall it's actually a decent car so far !

But appreciate the tips.

Ordered a couple things from o28rus just to.sort broken or missing stuff.

New fuel lines and pump already done. Timing and wp done.

New aluminum rad.

Hopefully running by end of week or early next week waiting on a couple things.

We have life!

We have ignition ! Managed to get it running!
Didn't run for long no coolant in yet
Airbox in pieces but system works!
Hallelujah@

I had to jimmy fix the ignition switch cam until I get a gppd used one or do the conversion for the new one.

But using a screw driver for now can start it !

I assume it hasn't run in at least 5 years +.

So a joy to hear it roar. With no giant puddles forming quickly hah.

It even resembles a car !
