Many 928 parts for sale
Hey guys, time and interest are getting the better of me and I'm going to be selling off all the extra 928 parts I have, possibly even my '79 car.
I'll be making as detailed of a list as I can starting Monday, and if anyone want's it all (and I mean ALL), they get 1st shot. I'm hoping to sell as much here at fair prices before messing with the e-bay hassle. Basically I have every savable part from a front-end hit '83 Euro S 5spd, and the same from an '80 US auto, plus my '79 US 5spd which needs paint, plus other parts and trinkets I've collected thru the years. Any particular needs, post-up and I'll answer thru the weekend, then start posting a complete list on Mon. |

Located at coastal Alabama
I've got most of what you need, the flywheel is year-specific for the 86.5 (85+ fits?). The trans I have has the 3.75 final ratio which is good performance-wise and I've got the torque tube (which I'm not even sure is different than the auto on the later cars), pedals, shifter, and the ever-important clutch cylinder mount (this should be welded though others have used h-d pop rivits or screws). I've also got the rear cross-member if this differs from the auto version (some years it does). If you post over at the 928 tech forum, they should be able to sort out which parts you need and which interchange; I know the trans, torque tube, shifter, bellhousing and pedals are all the same. |

With the sheer number of parts I have, it looks like throwing up a web page with pics/descriptions will be the way to go; I'll start working on that soon.
Some highlights: '83 Euro "S" engine(m28:11), complete as pulled minus the flywheel, but, with the lines needed to convert a non-CIS body. Pair of euro fenders needing some very light bodywork (scuffs, dings) -uncut for US front marker lights!-. RR 1/4 panel from Euro; also uncut for US lights. Most of brown full-leather interior. Raised-hub steering wheel (4-spoke). Spindles/brakes from 80-6 "S". Spindles from 80 US (needed to do the S4 brakes on early models). Euro fog/driving light set. 1 front 1 rear(Euro w/foglite) bumper cover. 28:05 5spd trans, 3spd auto trans. You get the picture; tons of parts. Please ask, I probably have it! Looking for fair market prices on all, not trying to get rich nor give away either. PM me with needs/offers. |
