83 928 sitting on the street F/S

I dont know much about a 928 kuz I'm a 996TT guy, but I have an elderly woman at the end of the street who was stuck with her son's 83 928S that he left there for her to sell and took off....good old mom huh?

At any rate, it's got 145K miles on it, and is a 5 speed, brown exterior/interior...sort of rough on the inside but he drove it there over a month ago....he has a sign with $5K on it, but mom wants it off the street in front of her house and said that she'd take $3K for it to get it out of there.

I'm helping her out by putting a charge on it kuz it's been sitting there for some time...tires are good and it's got a new battery. Tried to start it and it turns over but didn't start. May be a good car for someone or parts car or fix-er-upper. Don't know the 928, sorry.

I'm not involved, just would like to see it off the street and out of the neighborhood. The car is in Elk Grove, CA, 95758
