Ebay buyers name the used Part you're about to buy-We'll list at 50% off.
That's a nice idea... Only for USED 928 parts.

I guess I'm not sure I fully understand...? since we are talking about used parts (with really no established price) 50% off what price?
And it seems you are talking of listing it as an auction - and this will be the starting bid? Given your comments in the 'other thread' - I have to ask - will you sell at this starting bid if there is only 1 bid? Alan

Glad to formulate this with you.
Call a used parts dealer... Tell me how much wants for , lets say, a rebuilt 85-86 cylinder head.... What is it somewhere around $1000? Just guessing here. I'll list a rebuilt cylinder head for $500 no reserve. Let's work together and get my shelves cleared off some while setting unprecedented value. Do you know I sold the last three Mass Air Flow Sensors (ALL GOOD - NO RETURNS) for less than $150 each!? How about all 4 Brembos for Under $300?! I would say, come here, post what you need to buy and what the price needs to be for a no reserve auction, and I will oblige you 90% of the time. Is that a good example? |

How about an alternate example...
Do your own product research and learn what part fits what application. Sell only tested, war anteed parts. Do your own market research and establish fair prices for your goods. Publish your established prices. Win new business with customer service rather than by undercutting your competition. Also...cheap or even free used 928 parts are not that hard to come by. Product knowledge and customer service are what people pay for. Also, also....isn't this blatant advertising thread an abuse of the Pelican Site owner's goodwill? I can't imagine any other 928 venders making a similar post.

Pelican is no longer in the used parts business, so this is not direct competition.
Even if I personally find it annoying, as far as I can tell it is not against our policies. (Unless Wayne says it is, in which case his word goes.) If he were selling new parts, that would be direct competition, and the thread would be closed or deleted. --DD

Hey Mason,
Great photo of you & the crew on your site, though, I think your chest is the smallest of your group...might be time to hit the gym. Mark

I need a driver side rear hub assembly (carrier and spindle) for a 87 Porsche 928 S4. The wheel bearing does not have to meet spec since Im going to replace it anyways. Let me know if you have one. dan87951 at gmail dot com.

Don't need anywhere near the whole suspension. I just need the driver side rear hub spindle but most won't break up the hub assembly so im willing to take the hub carrier and spindle if hes got one for a reasonable price.

Sounds like 928intl would be a good source for this. I'm still amazed how quickly they get orders out. Good job Mark.
