FS: NOS set of 4.5L Mahle pistons

I've got a set of NOS Mahle 95mm pistons for a 4.5L 928 for sale

They are new in Mahle boxes and were bought with a bunch of other engine parts from an old school machinist wthat was sellign his business.

They are the non-dished Euro versions with 10:1 compression and are tolerance group 2

Includes set of 8 pistons, rings, pins and circlips

Looking for $750 shipped to US or Canada

Thanks
Andrew M

Very rarely needed item. Most 4.5L 928 motors don't get rebuilt, those that do get rebuilt usually don't replace pistons, those that do replace pistons usually stay with the factory size.

Well, maybe not needed often, but they are NLA from Porsche and at some point someone may need them.

They are a nice bump in compression over the US versions if someone is already going into their engine and jsut to note, they are standard size, just tolerance group 2.

Thanks

What I mean is that factory motors shipped with group I think 0, 1, or 2 and in a rebuild you would not change the original group size unless the cylinder wall was damaged and needed to be refinished and damage usually exceeds all the group differences and requires boring to 4.7L and 97mm pistons.

Right - that's why I specified in the first post that these are tolerance group 2 - that's the oem 95.02mm bore.

Right - Again, that's why I specified tolerance group 2 - so a prospective buyer can check their bore and see if they are appropriate for them. If you have a 0 or 1 stock bore, or need to bore your block, these would not be for you.

I'm basically looking for a buyer that wants to rebuild their 4.5L and get a bump in compression.

It's cool that you have no need for them. I don't either - that's why they are for sale.
